  • What students can expect before, during, and after test day
  • Guidance on strategies for scoring success
  • Overview of the support LFHS provides, from free prep classes to individualized guidance

Watch the recording below to see the full session.

AP Exam Information

The College Board AP Exams will be administered during the weeks of May 4-8 and May 11-15, 2026, at Lake Forest High School..  To learn more about the benefits and structure of AP Exams, visit this College Board link: AP Exams Overview.

2026 College Board AP Exam Schedule

There are two steps to the registration process:

  1. Students must first join AP Classroom on their College Board account.  Directions are given by their teacher, and this step is done by the student. Students taking their first AP Exam must first create an account on CollegeBoard.org.

  2. Pay for the exams on Revtrak through the Lake Forest High School website.

To clarify: Before paying for AP Exams, students must sign in or create a College Board account and join their AP Classroom.  This step is done in class, and instructions are shared by the teacher.  Even if a student pays for an exam, the College Board will not provide an exam unless this step is complete.  Students should complete this step in the first few weeks of school.  If students have an issue accessing or creating their  College Board account, please contact Mrs. La Vitola, dlavitola@lfschools.net, or stop in her office, 205, for assistance.

Beginning Monday, September 15, payment for each exam can be made through Revtrak, https://lakeforest.revtrak.net/ap-exams/#/list, the LFHS payment portal.  Simply click on the link, choose SHOP, and you will see a drop-down for the AP Exams. Choose the exam of your choice from the left side of the screen.

  • The cost of each AP exam is $99.00. (Note: AP Physics C,  AP Government, and AP Economics each consist of two $99 exams).
  • Payment deadline (without late fee) is November 9, 2025.  Any exam ordered after 11/9/25 and by 3/1/26 will be charged a $40 College Board late fee.  Exception: AP Macroeconomics, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, and AP US Government & Politics are 2nd semester classes, and the College Board does not assess a late fee to these exams.
  • The deadline to order an AP exam is March 1, 2026.

Financial Assistance

If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Mrs. LaVitola, dlavitola@lfschools.net, Office 205, or your counselor to discuss options by November 1.

Refunds:

Between 11/10/25 - 3/12/26, students who choose not to test after signing up for an exam are eligible for a partial refund reflecting the $40 cancellation fee imposed by The College Board.  Refunds will not be available after 3/12/26.
