Senior On-Campus Parking - Update as of November 4, 2024

The second semester senior parking lottery results are in! All of the parking spaces have been accounted for.  

Refunds will be issued to those that did not get a spot within the next week.  

If you have not received an email letting you know whether or not you won a spot please email Ms. Betty Magana bmagana@lfschools.net.

Second Semester parking tag pick up will take place in the deans' office during the week of 12/09/24-12/13/24. Please be sure to pick up your tag to know what your parking spot number is.

Thank you for your participation in the second semester senior parking lottery.

Remote parking at the train station (701 N. McKinley Road). Shuttle information for remote parking:Bus H8 picks students up from N McKinley Rd and Scott St at 7:35 am on scout days and at 8:44 am for the second route on blue and gold days. Students can jump on bus H6 after school to be dropped off at N McKinley Rd and Scott St at 3:37 pm.

Second Semester Parking dates are from January 6, 2025, to June 5, 2025.
Student parking at Lake Forest High School is open to all students during their senior year. All vehicles are required to have a current parking tag in their windshield at all times between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Parking spots are assigned by a random lottery system at a cost of $575 a semester. Students looking to enter the parking lottery can do so by signing up through the parking link on RevTrak (when live) and process their parking payment for $575.

Only students who will be seniors at the time of semester parking can enter the parking lottery. Students will be notified that the lottery is open through their school email and Schoology announcements.

Parking for semesters 1 and 2 are for every single school day of the respective semester.

VIEW SENIOR PARKING GUIDELINES

• Only students who will be seniors at the time of semester parking can enter the lottery.
   
• If more seniors apply than the number of available spots, a lottery will be held. All applications submitted before the deadline will be included in the lottery. The lottery is done by a computer-generated program.
   
• Seniors will be notified of lottery results via the notification email provided on the parking application.
   
• A senior can choose to share a parking space with another senior student. This information needs to be kept on file with Mrs. Magana, in the Deans’ Office.
   
• If a student applied for a senior parking space first semester and did not receive a space, they are guaranteed a spot for the second semester.  You still must apply by the deadline to receive your parking space.
   
• Seniors who do not receive a parking space will automatically be issued a refund and placed on a waiting list based on the number assigned by the lottery computer program.
   
• Students are responsible for picking up their first semester parking pass during book pick up on August 15 and 16 2024.
   
• School authorities may inspect and search school property and equipment owned or controlled by the school (including parking lots).
   
• Students who abuse their parking privileges may have their parking space revoked without a refund.
