Team Support
In cooperation with our Team/Coach Liaison Program, we provide funds directly to teams to help offset the costs of team dinners, banquets, senior celebrations, etc. Amounts contributed to teams are directly correlated to a team’s participation in the Team/Coach Liaison Program, which includes completing parent volunteer hours.
Spirit Initiatives and Recognition
Scholarships
Each year, Boosters recognizes four senior athletes with the Outstanding Senior Athlete Award (OSAA). These students have demonstrated excellence through their athletic performance, leadership, spirit and sportsmanship as an athlete at LFHS. Four $1,000 awards are given to two outstanding female and two outstanding male athletes. These award winners are prominently displayed on the “Images of Excellence Mural”.
*Seniors who will be collegiate athletes receiving full Division 1 scholarships may not be eligible to accept the monetary award portion of the OSAA in order to adhere to NCAA guidelines. All senior athletes are encouraged to apply for the OSAA.

Athletic Competition Equipment (ACE) Grant
Every LFHS coach has the opportunity to request additional equipment for their programs and teams. The requests are submitted to the LFHS Athletic Department and if deemed reasonable by Athletics, they are then presented to Boosters for funding. Grants are submitted by coaches in the spring and presented to Booster Board for approval at the May Booster Board meeting.
In 2023-2024 we granted: $64,285
Varsity Team Grant
Varsity Team Grants are available to all LFHS Varsity teams. These grants help fund special tournaments, camps and high caliber competitions. These opportunities help increase team exposure, improve player skills and foster team building/growth. Boosters will reimburse up to $1,000 and will not exceed the total cost of the camp. In 2023-2024 we granted $5000!

Yard Signs
Yard Signs
Celebrate your LFHS student's Athletic Team or Scout Nation membership with a personalized yard sign. The yard sign order cycles coincide with the start of each athletic season (fall, winter, spring).
The Yard Sign Store for the Fall season is now closed. The store will open again for the winter season in early November. An email will be sent when fall signs are ready for pick-up.
An alternative general yard sign option may be purchased at any time through Custom Lawn Sign. This yard sign is a supplemental option that can be purchased to acknowledge team captains, conference or state championships. Please note, it is a smaller and thinner yard sign than what is offered seasonally.
If you have questions, please email yardsigns@lfhsboosters.org. Thank you for your support!

Team/Coach Liasons
Team/Coach Liaisons
Team parents are an important part of team organization, success and fun for LFHS athletic teams.
Team parents assist coaches, players and parents with communication, planning and team activities including banquets and Senior celebrations. The Boosters organize, support and help fund teams through team parents. Team parents organize parents to volunteer to staff concessions, the Spirit Store and special projects such as putting Scout flags out around town on Homecoming and Graduation.
For more information on becoming a Team Parent, please contact: liaison@lfhsboosters.org
Buttons
Button Machine
Team parents traditionally make photo buttons of each player on the team for the players’ parents to wear at events. Head and shoulders photos on 4 x 6 photo paper work best; computer or copy paper will NOT work. You will need at least two copies of each photo. Have the photos developed before you request a date.
The button machine and accompanying supplies can be checked out by emailing liaison@lfhsboosters.org
Please give a minimum of 24 hours for your request and have your pictures ready before reserving the machine.
Once a date to use the machine is secured, you can coordinate pick up of the machine at Jen Scroggin's house. The machine must be returned 24 hours later. This is to ensure that all teams have access to the machine.
Direction and supplies are included with the button machine.
Senior Banner Request
Senior Banner Request
The Boosters has Senior Banners which may be used as decorations on Senior Night. Arrangements to use the banners are made with the team/coach liaison team. Please reserve the banners ahead of time by emailing liaison@lfhsboosters.org and return the banners immediately following the event.

Booster Team Money Form for Volunteer Hours
Teams earn money by working Booster Hours (Concessions and Spirit Store) assigned through the Boosters. The formula for the number of hours each team is eligible to get paid is equal to the number of rostered players plus manager(s) plus up to two coaches x $25.00.
Example: 14 players + 2 coaches + 1 Manager = (14 + 3) x $25.00 = $425.00
Click Booster Team Money Form to submit for reimbursement.
The form may be filled out as early as the week of the last regular season game and must be completed within 60 days following the Senior Celebration/Team Banquet.
