For the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year, Boosters proudly contributed $216,038.84 to support Scout Athletics!

Athletic Competition Equipment (ACE) Grant

Every IHSA program within LFHS has the opportunity to request additional equipment to enhance their programs and teams. The grant requests should be items that are not expected to be budgeted by the athletic department.

Via the link below, requests are submitted simultaneously to the LFHS Athletic Director and Booster VP of Grants. ACE Grants must be submitted by varsity coaches by April 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM. This will allow the Booster Grant Committee to align with the district on budgeted vs grant items and then be presented to Booster Board for approval at the late April Booster Board meeting.

Spirit & Recognition Grants

LFHS Boosters is a proud sponsor of the Wall of Excellence at LFHS West Campus. Each year, Boosters supports the creation of the wall the houses the images of the Outstanding Student Athletes and other prestigious senior awards that earn Images of Excellence.

In 2024, The Booster Board voted to support a special initiative to digitize all historic athletic awards, which will be proudly displayed in the Robert Metcalf Foyer at East Campus on a Digital Wall of Excellence. In total, Boosters provided $39,982 for Spirit & Recognition Grants in 2024!

In 2025, Boosters approved $35,000 for Spirit & Recognition Grants, in addition to funding the Wall of Excellence. The new Home of the Scouts banners is already installed at West Campus. Look for more exciting installations to come throughout 2025!

Varsity Team Grants

Varsity Team Grants are available to all LFHS Varsity teams. These grants help fund special tournaments, camps and high caliber competitions. These opportunities help increase team exposure, improve player skills and foster team building/growth. Boosters will reimburse up to $1,000 and will not exceed the total cost of the camp. In 2025-26 we granted $8,000 and counting!
